The Lens

I’ve always been drawn to the space where story and structure intersect — where reason becomes narrative and narrative becomes the way we understand the world. My work lives in that intersection.

As a writer, thought architect, and voiceover artist, I explore how human beings make meaning, how they lose it, and how disciplined reasoning can restore clarity when the noise gets too loud.

The Arc

For more than two decades, I worked in emergency medicine — in helicopters, on ambulances, and in the quiet aftermath of crisis. Those years taught me how fragile clarity can be when decisions must be made in seconds and lives hang in the balance. They also taught me that confusion isn’t chaos; it’s contradiction waiting to be understood.

What began as a career in clinical care evolved into a lifelong study of how people think under pressure — how bias, fear, and narrative shape the outcomes we call judgment. That journey became the foundation of The Master’s Wheel: a framework for reasoning, risk, and metacognition that I now teach, write about, and apply in leadership, safety, and ethics.

The Core

In medicine, in systems, in story — clarity is earned through discipline, self-skepticism, and a willingness to test what feels true against what is true. It’s the moral posture behind every decision and every sentence I write or speak.

The Expression

Writing:
Through narrative nonfiction and essays, I explore how collapse, contradiction, and complexity reveal who we are — as individuals and as systems.

The Master’s Wheel:
My original framework for understanding decision-making and cognitive failure. It’s a lens for investigating how clarity emerges from collapse, and how disciplined reasoning restores coherence in the aftermath.
